Andrew J. Deak MD, DMD

In 2006, Andy Deak joined his father’s practice, bringing with him not only a dentistry degree, but also a medical education. As a licensed physician, Andy provides the medical understanding needed for many of the more complex dental procedures.

Like his father, Andy believes that before all else, every patient deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. In getting to know his patients, Andy determines the best approach for their individual care, and together they come up with a plan.

Andy earned a medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2004; and a doctor of medical dentistry degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2006. His undergraduate studies were completed at Youngstown State University. Andy completed a year of Preliminary Internal Medicine Residency at Akron City Hospital/Summa Health System. Andy is a professor at Case School of Dental medicine and NEOMED and, he has lectured to dentists and medical doctors on medical-dental emergencies and the oral-systemic link.

As the father of this father-son practice, Bill started caring for patients soon after completing his education at Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1976. And, my how things have changed since then.

Recent technology has brought about improvements in dental care that were only dreamed about in the ‘70s. But one thing that has remained constant over the years is Bill’s commitment to the highest quality dental care with the finest and most advanced equipment. Even so, Bill is first to tell you that no equipment can match the compassionate care of a trustworthy dentist.

In his free time, Bill enjoys cheering for his beloved Buckeyes and boating on Lake Erie. An avid reader, Bill supports the Grafton Library as a member of the library’s board. He’s a member of the American Dental Association and the Lorain County Dental Society.
